Console Players Are Getting These Great 2021 Titles Soon!

Porting games to more platforms is an obvious step for successful titles from indies and big titles alike. The amount of games recently announced to be expanding to more console platforms is growing to the point that it may be hard for most to keep up with. So, to make it easier to track here’s a quick list of the titles that were recently announced to be coming to more platforms. They will be listed in order of when they are planned to be ported to more platforms.

Cyanide & Happiness - Freakpocalypse (Episode 1) by Explosm, Skeleton Crew Studios, and Serenity Forge

Despite releasing in March 2021 on PC to some mixed reviews (mainly due to the lack of informing the audience that it was not the full game and just the first part), this wacky and violent world is now also available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Console players can now fill in the sad shoes of high-schooler Cooper “Coop” McCarthy as he does your typical high-school things: going to school, finding a prom date, sidestepping maniacal deadly bullies, and trying not to trigger the apocalypse. Death’s Door by Acid Nerve and Devolver Digital

First released back in July 2021 on PC and Xbox, this rogue-lite has been receiving plenty of positive reviews. This game will thrust players into a quirky and curious world where Crows are in charge of collecting the souls of the dead. As one of these Crow reapers, players set out on a mission that goes wrong and sends them on a wild adventure. Coming November 23, 2021, players on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch will be able to get in on the action as well! Check out the new platform trailer below.

In Sound Mind by We Create Stuff and Modus Games

After recently being released in September 2021 to positive reviews on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, this mind-bending twist on the horror genre has been announced to be coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022. This game will take players through an interesting form of fear where the real monsters are those that live within your own memories. Check out their accolades trailer to see some of their highlighted reviews.

Along with these three title announcements, there were recent announcements for platform expansions from both the classic horror inspired game Tormented Souls by Dual Effect, Abstract Digital, and PQube, as well as, the adult horror game Succubus by Madmind Studio.
