DIRT 5 Looks Silky Smooth Running On Xbox Series X

Dirt 5 drops exactly 2 weeks from today and boy am I stoked. The beloved racing series’ fifth entry is due to release on November 6th and promises to deliver an awesome arcade-style approach to the franchise’s already established racing formula. In the newly released trailer above, you can see just how smooth the game runs on the Xbox Series X. At a stunning 120 frames per second, we truly get to see the power that Xbox is packing under Series X’s hood.

What stands out about this game besides the glorious FPS are the absolutely gorgeous visuals. Not only are they high res but the color palette has me head over heels for this title. The hot pinks and oranges really make this game look like a fun and thrilling experience, just by the footage alone. This looks like the racer of the year in my eyes and I’m sure a lot would agree with me if we’re going by Dirt’s reputation.

For folks wondering whether or not they should pick this game up when it releases on current-gen consoles this November 6th or if it’s a better idea to wait for the next-gen version on November 19th, I say to go for it sooner rather than later. The reason I say that is because the current-gen versions of the game whether physical or digital will get an upgrade when you play them on your next-gen console as long as it’s in the same console family.

You can pick up Dirt 5 on November 6th for Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One or on November 19th for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
