The Game Devs of Color Expo is entering into its fifth year, taking place this Saturday and Sunday. It’s a diverse convention that is making its way online this year by being exclusively digital. The aim of the expo is to shine a light on the developers of color in the industry. While this expo is being done 100% online, there is a small fee to help out the ones putting this all together. There are 2 passes to choose from and it’s really refreshing to see what they actually are. You can choose between the Standard Pass and the Low-Income Pass. The Standard Pass is $10 plus a $2.24 fee and gives you access to the entire experience. On the other hand, you have the Low-Income Pass. What I really appreciate about this pass is that it’s $5 plus a small $1.94 fee but gives people that are financially affected a chance to attend the event too. In fact, it actually gives you the exact same access as the Standard Pass. For anyone who is truly unable to pay for a pass, you can fill out a form for it here.

During a pandemic, it’s extremely admirable to see a convention doing something like this. The event takes place this Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th from 10 am ET - 6 pm ET. Interested in purchasing a ticket? Click this link right here to learn more!
