Hades II technical test ran for a few weeks last month, and it was confirmed that the early access release would soon follow. Well, as it happens, Hades II is now available in early access, and you can get in the action right now. This is a shadow drop, and details of the early access build have been updated on the Steam page. You can purchase it now for $30, and I can confirm that there’s regional pricing as well.

The current release of Hades II already has more content that the first release according to the early access FAQ.

“Hades II in Early Access already has more environments, foes, and fully-voiced characters than the full version of the original Hades game. But it isn't complete, and key areas, characters, foes, narrative events, and systems are still to come.

Though, like with the first one, you can expect a lot of new content, updates, and balancing. If you want the best possible experience, then I recommend waiting for version 1.0. I enjoyed my time with the first game’s early access duration, but Supergiant Games certainly took their time till they were ready for the full release.

Hades II is expected to be in Early Access development at least through the end of 2024
