Here Are The Details For MONSTER HUNTER WORLD'S First DLC And Final Beta Test Revealed

In the past weeks, Capcom has released several beta tests for their upcoming game, Monster Hunter World. The Japanese based publisher has also promised many times that they will be supporting the game with free post-release DLCs. That expansion will introduce the addition of new monsters to hunt and this new monster that will be included in the free update, will be called Devilijho. Check out the trailer for the monster below.

“The Deviljho must feed constantly and will devour anything in its way, even feeding on the largest monsters with its massive jowls,” Capcom explained. “This wild beast. Really is one for only the bravest of hunters to take on.”

Capcom did not give any details as to whether Deviljho will be the only monster included in the update. However, looking back on free DLCs for past Monster Hunter entries for the 3DS, would show that they consisted of gear and items based on some other game franchises such as Mario, Sonic, and Zelda, among others. As the release of the game is fast approaching, Capcom is planning to release the final beta test for the game.

The company recently announced that the third and final beta test will run a few days before the game’s release, and will only be available on the PS4 again. The beta test begins at 6PM PT/ 9PM ET on January 18/19 depending on where in US you're located. The beta test will end on January 21/22 at the same time.

The first beta test for Monster Hunter World was conducted in early December and was exclusive to PlayStation Plus members only. The second beta test followed a month later and was made available to all PS4 players, whether you have a PS Plus subscription or not. All of the previous content and locations from the previous beta test will still be available on the final beta but players will also be able to fight off against the game’s flagship monster, the Nergigante

Monster Hunter World will be released for PS4 and Xbox One on January 26, followed by the PC later this year. Are you excited to play Monster Hunter Worlds?
