Listen To A PLAGUE TALE: REQUIEM's Music Symphony Played Live

One of the biggest titles of 2022 has to go to Asobo Studio and Focus Home Interactive’s sequel title, A Plague Tale: Requiem. This fact is reflected in the currently ongoing Game Awards voting opportunity as their title has been nominated for five categories. These categories include Game of the Year, Best Narrative, Best Score and Music, Best Action/Adventure, and Best Performance.

Part of the success undeniably goes to the game’s remarkable score, which is one of the nominated categories at The Game Awards. Composed by Olivier Derivière and featuring world-class performers, this music was recently showcased in a live concert to celebrate the game’s release.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is an intensely emotional journey, powerfully enriched by Olivier Derivière’s poignant compositions. Derivière is a passionate video game composer and international star in the field, winner of multiple awards and a nominee at the 2017 BAFTAs. The outstanding performers who collaborated with Derivière on the score include Eric-Maria Couturier – a distinguished member of the Ensemble intercontemporain – and the two-time Grammy Award-winning Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, who lend spellbinding vocals to the compositions.

Fans of A Plague Tale and music lovers alike can purchase the game’s special vinyl edition original soundtrack, available at Black Screen Records. Shipping in December, the release will be a 2LP on gold marble-colored vinyl, housed in a gatefold jacket with game art.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is available now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and in Cloud Version on Nintendo Switch.
