New Trailer For THE LAST WORKER Shows An Automated Dystopian World
Not even bothering to try and shy away from the blunt point their game is aiming to make, the latest trailer from developers Oiffy and Wolf & Wood Interactive has given their publisher Wired Productions to share really packs a punch. Straight-up titled ‘End-Stage Capitalism,’ this new trailer for The Last Worker shows a mostly automated dystopian world.
This first-person narrative adventure centers around our struggle in an increasingly automated world. Combining a hand-crafted art style with uniquely immersive gameplay mechanics in an epic setting, they hope to deliver an emotional, thought-provoking, and comedic story packaged with rich characters performed by an all-star cast. By all-star cast, they include the latest members to join, Zelda Williams (The Legend of Korra) and Tommie Earl Jenkins (Death Stranding), who are now working with Jason Isaacs (The Death of Stalin), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (The Deep), Clare-Hope Ashitey (Children of Men), and David Hewlett (The Shape of Water).
The Last Worker has an intriguing initial trailer announcement and now this new one is definitely sure to catch a lot of attention. Plus, this game will be launching as a standard and virtual reality title. It is set to release sometime in 2022 on PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Meta Quest 2.
