Sony Pictures has released two new teaser posters for the upcoming Monster Hunter film, and the weapon design takes center stage in the images.

Milla Jovovich and Tony Jaa are both dwarfed by their iconic weapons. The star of the Resident Evil series is wielding the Giant Jawblade, and it towers over her as she leans the sword on her shoulder. And the Thai martial artist grips the Great Hunter’s Bow, which looks like it could loose a giant ballista bolt.

The two action stars are well-equipped, and the weapons they’ve chosen will be needed when they face off with monsters.

Monster Hunter releases in theaters on September 4th. Maybe it will be able to continue the streak of good movies adapted from video games after the commercial appeal and box office success of Sonic the Hedgehog.
