Red Dead Redemption Could Finally Be Coming To PC
Red Dead Redemption originally released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2010 and has since then been a phenomenon in gaming. With a new port that released in 2023 for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch, PC fans were left out but it seems that is about to change.
Currently, PC players are able to play Red Dead Redemption by emulating the Nintendo Switch port from last years release, and they do not have a native port of their own. However a discovery was made by an avid Rockstar dataminer, Tez2.
They have shared strings found on Rockstars website that could hint at a full-fledged PC port that will be added to the website, which could mean an announcement can happen very soon.
Take Two will share their earnings report later this week and could have details regarding Rockstars present and future projects.
It seems that after 14 years of waiting, PC players will finally be able to take on the journey of John Marston following the events of Red Dead Redemption 2, without the need of emulation. Its defintely an exciting day for many gamers, now we just have to hope that the announcement happens soon.
