The sci-fi cyberpunk title, The Ascent finally has its release date! It’ll be releasing on gaming platforms this July 29th, and will cost gamers only $29.99 at launch. The game will also be added to Xbox’s amazing line-up of Game Pass titles on release day as well. This has been one of the titles releasing this summer that I’m really excited about. This is the first title from developer Neon Giant, an indie studio that is compiled of industry vets who’ve worked on AAA games such as Gears of War and the Wolfenstein franchise.

The Ascent will take full advantage of the next-gen gaming hardware, running at 60fps with full 4K support on the Xbox Series X. The game looks absolutely gorgeous in all of its trailers released so far. I’m really eager to see how it looks and plays for myself though. There’s also a new list of features announced to give players a better idea of what there is to expect in-game.
