Voice Cast For Upcoming Animated MARIO BROS Movie Has Been Confirmed

A brand new, animated full-length Mario Bros movie has officially been confirmed with the cast announced during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct by Shigeru Miyamoto himself. This announcement also gave us a few key details. For one, Miyamoto said that he has been working with the Hollywood studio Illumination and their CEO Chris Meledandri to make this movie happen. They also gave us the release date of December 21, 2022, in North America.

Now for the voice cast, specifically for the English version of the movie, we have:

Chris Pratt as Mario

Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach

Charlie Day as Luigi

Jack Black as Bowser

Keegan-Michael Key as Toad

Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong

Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek

Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong

Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike

Charles Martinet, the original voice of Mario, will also be involved with surprise cameo’s

This movie, which doesn’t have an official title yet announced, is being created through the collaborative efforts between both Nintendo and Illumination. While we still truly have no idea how this well this movie will play out, it is interesting to see another movie attempt being made for yet another new Mario adventure. The next update for this movie isn’t going to be for awhile, so until then we can only hope that this movie turns out better than any of the previous ones.
