Alan Wake 2 is regarded as one of the most anticipated sequels that came to life in October 2023 for the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. It saw a lot of critical success and was regarded by fans as a game that was worth waiting for, particularly with the first free DLC that released for the game.
At Summer Game Fest, Sam Lake took the stage to personally announce the arrival of the next set of DLC but this one is exclusive to Digital Deluxe editions of the game that cost more. The DLC will tell three different what if scenarios with characters from other Remedy titles such as Control.
The DLC will release tomorrow for free and will also launch with the anticipated photo mode update. The story DLC will span 3 episodes and feature 12 new trophies with plans for even more DLC planned for later this year.
The fun story DLC will definitely appease fans to give the game another try, and look for clues related to contiinuing the story of the Alan Wake universe, and maybe one of the other characters in the game? I know I am excited for the DLC!
