Season three of Apex Legends will shake things up in the battle royale. Crypto, a new Legend is entering the fray. Details about this hacker have emerged in leaks and drip-fed reveals for a while now, but Respawn gave us a cinematic glimpse of the fighter in action during their trailer.
The arrival of Crypto, while exciting, is not the biggest part of the upcoming season, though. A new map, World’s Edge, is finally here. For Apex Legends fans, this means a completely new environment to explore and master. Battle royale games do not introduce additional battlegrounds often, so this is good news for the squad-based shooter. New characters are one thing, but never-before-seen biomes and fresh map mechanics will revitalize the game.
Other updates will debut alongside the World’s Edge and Crypto. An all-new battle pass introduces over 100 items for players to acquire, and the Charge Rifle will become available for all of your Arena needs.
