Players looking for a hauntingly realistic take on survival in the harsh wilderness have a new title to be excited about. Releasing on Steam via its Early Access program, DRAGO Entertainment brings gamers Winter Survival; a man vs. wild tale as nightmarish as one would assume.

In reality, Winter Survival’s name may actually be a bit deceptive to some, as isn’t just another run-of-the-mill survival title floating around Steam’s Early Access section pages. It’s a game that gives players three distinctly different ways to play, making sure that those taking part in Winter Survival really feel the impact of what it’s throwing their way.

There’s an Endless Mode which actually is just as players would expect from a survival title, but there’s also a Story Mode too. This mode sees the journey of a man disconnected from the rest of his group in the snowy wilds where animals and the environments themselves are working to hurt him. Does he make it back to civilization? Lastly, Winter Survival also includes a Coldwave Mode as well. This mode doesn’t launch for another week but aims to hit players with endless harrowing blizzards.
