The new side-scroller, Bladed Fury is making its big debut later this month! You may remember Bladed Fury from when it was first unveiled at last year’s PAX East. Taking place in China, the game mixes Chinese mythology, a traditional art style, and a dash of surrealism to bring this 2D side-scroller to life. In Bladed Fury you’ll play as Princess Ji who has been exiled following a murder that she was wrongfully accused of. She’s now on a journey of vengeance as she tries to clear her name and rescue her sister. The game’s developer, PM Studios has said that the title offers fluid combat and a high-octane combat system to utilize in taking down the its many ancient enemies and deities.
The game will release both physically and digitally on March 25th. The physical copies will cost $39.99 and are called “Launch Editions” which will include a voucher for a digital copy of the game’s soundtrack. These Physical copies are available for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions. They’re limited so now is definitely the time to pre-order them. You can pre-order the physical copies from these participating retailers: Amazon, Best Buy, Game Stop, and Video Games Plus. Digital copies aren’t yet up for pre-order on all platforms but you can snag your digital copy for Nintendo Switch. It’s currently on sale with a discount via the eShop for $17.99 instead of the usual price of $19.99.
