Classic survival horror inspired game, Outbreak: The New Nightmare is coming to PlayStation 4 consoles in just a few days! The game is a sequel to Outbreak (2017) and originally came out for Xbox One and Steam back in 2018. Thankfully it’s finally coming to PS4 on August 27th! Outbreak’s developers at Dead Drop Studios created the game as an homage to the Resident Evil: Outbreak games and borrowing controls, and mechanics from it.
The PS4 version of the game is Dead Drop’s most superior, having a major update just this year. Local split-screen co-op, graphical improvements, and enemy AI are just a handful of the improvements made that are included at launch. The game costs $12.99 which isn’t a bad price. This also comes just in time to get the spookiness started as we slowly approach Halloween. It may be early but due to the ongoing pandemic, I’ve already started getting into the holiday.
