Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands may not even be a month old yet, but it’s already getting some new content: “Coiled Captors,” the first part of Wonderlands’ Season Pass, will arrive this Thursday, April 21st, 2022. This new experience will take players into the first Mirror of Mystery and features a gauntlet of combat challenges that include a powerful, new boss by the name of Chums.
According to the game’s official website, the snake-like Coiled once managed to capture an elder god, and they sealed him in the body of a seawarg hundreds of years ago. Now, players must free the divine being from his prison by slaying his mortal form over and over again. But each week Chums will grow stronger, posing an even greater challenge. Dying against Chums also has an added penalty that boots players out of the dungeon altogether, forcing them to strategize carefully before taking him on.
The Coiled Captors content also brings new weapons, spells, and cosmetics to the game, many of which can be earned by spinning the Wheel of Fate. The Wheel can be found in Dreamveil Overlook, which serves as a hub for all the DLC content that falls under the Mirrors of Mystery banner.
The final bit of news included in this announcement reveals the names of the next four, Season Pass content drops and the expected order in which they’ll arrive. After Coiled Captors, players will encounter “Glutton’s Gamble,” “Molten Mirrors,” and “Shattering Spectreglass,” the last of which will also bring a seventh character class to the game.
Coiled Captors will be available for all Season Pass owners on Thursday, April 21st, 2022, and will also be available for individual purchase. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
