A new combatant has entered the fray! NEXON has announced that their upcoming combat title from the combined efforts of NEOPLE INC and Arc System Works called DNF DUEL will be hosting an open beta this weekend. It’s a surprising decision to follow the announcement of The King of Fighters open beta weekend with roughly the same dates. Plus, both of these open beta’s are going to be exclusive to PlayStation players on the 4 and 5 consoles.
It looks like it will be a combat weekend for PlayStation players all around! But along with a classic series growing, we are being introduced to this new fighting game from the same creators of titles such as Guilty Gear and BlazBlue. If you are interested in checking out this open beta, it will take place during these dates:
PST: Dec. 17 at 6pm until Dec. 20 at 6am
UTC: Dec. 18 at 2am until Dec. 20 at 2pm
KST/JST: Dec. 18 at 11am until Dec. 20 at 11pm
I’ll definitely be trying out DNF DUEL this weekend. It’s always interesting to see what other fight games are coming out and what mechanics they will have to make them stick out over other titles in the combat genre. Will you be trying out this new combat fighter during this open beta weekend?
