With the upcoming remaster of the entire Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, it is not pure hope to present the idea that another remaster from the Crash series is a possibility.
Vicarious Visions refuses to rule out more remasters or even the possibility of a brand new Crash Bandicoot game! An interview with studio producer Kara Massie is where it was revealed that the future of Crash, beyond the launch of the remastered trilogy, is unclear. During the said interview, Massie let it slip that a remaster for CTR: Crash Team Racing is one title that is "asked for a lot."
While a remaster of a classic racing game from my childhood sounds amazing to put in my library with the N. Sane trilogy remaster, a brand new Crash Bandicoot game is a much more welcoming idea! I look forward to seeing what direction they decide to take this blast from the past and doubt that I will find myself disappointed either way!
