Publisher Curve Games and developer IronOak Games have announced a Steam Closed Beta for their title For the King II, the highly-anticipated sequel to the very successful franchise. Drawing inspiration from tabletop adventures, For the King II builds on the original game's challenging blend of strategy, turn-based combat, and roguelike elements that all get stirred together to create an epic new experience!
"With For the King II, we want to involve our community as much as we can," said Sterling Andeson, Studio Director at IronOak Games. They are making their first big step towards this by taking on one of the most requested fan features by far! They're adding a four-player co-op!
During the Closed Beta Build there will be quite a bit available especially for it being a beta build. Players will have access to five playable adventures and six character classes with more being available in the final release! The six character classes available during the beta are, Blacksmith, Scholar, Hunter, Stableboy, Herbalist, and Alchemist. Herbalist and Alchemist being unlockable through gameplay. Players will be able to enjoy a solo adventure or play with a friend in multiplayer.
