Reuben Langdon, the voice actor for Dante in the Devil May Cry games (as recently as DMC 5 in 2020) went on an interview to talk about the latest anime adaptation, but later in the interview, whether you call it a slip or otherwise, he accidentally says Devil May Cry 6 and quickly fixes it by saying Devil May Cry 5.

Devil May Cry 5 was a collosal success for Capcom, critically and commercially, so fans knew that Devil May Cry 6 is only a question of when and not if.
While Capcom has yet to talk about a new entry over the last 5 years, the Netflix anime landed earlier today and while the reception is very mixed with fans, we all know a game for the series is always something fans can look forward to.
