DEAD BY DAYLIGHT Brings In Their Next Iconic Chapter, SILENT HILL

A game that is littered with various horrors, both original and iconic, is getting the expansion that many have been hoping to see. Online 4v1 asymmetrical title Dead by Daylight from Behaviour Interactive has announced their next chapter to host the memorable faces from Silent Hill. Killers will have the chance to wield the dragging blade as they roam as Pyramid Head while survivors will be able to take on the role of Heather, or should I say Cheryl, Mason.

Without going into the argument that they should have just named her Heather Mason instead of Cheryl Mason, despite the latter end of the games lore revealing that they are one-in-the-same person, I have to say that these two are easily the top choices to be added. While she didn’t show up until the third game, it was that entry into the series where we started to really see a connection between the Silent Hill story lines. Harry Mason would have been the only other choice they could have used, but the role is best filled by his daughter. Then we have Pyramid Head, which has grown more popular than the developers intended and the enemy that the community loves to see in action. Letting us play as this hulking terror beast is easily something that makes me want to get back to playing Dead by Daylight religiously again.

The trailer itself is pretty dull in comparison to how they could have set it up, but at least it gives us a visual of both the new characters and the new map, Midwich Elementary School, in it. I was honestly expecting the hospital or carnival area when I knew it was Heather, but the school is a good choice as well. Check out the trailer yourself below:
