Deception Game GOOSE GOOSE DUCK Hits Huge User Milestone

Multiplayer deduction and deception game Goose Goose Duck has skyrocketed in popularity in the last month, with the game hitting eight hundred thousand concurrent users in one day.

Developed and published by Gaggle Studios and originally released in October 2021, the game has recently achieved viral success after Kim Taehyung, or V, member of the hugely successful K-pop group BTS, streamed the game.

Goose Goose Duck is a game where players are split between geese, who need to complete tasks, and ducks, who need to kill the geese. No one knows which players are ducks. This becomes a little more complicated with roles, which add additional mechanics and rules for individual players.

Gaggle Studios has reacted to the surge in popularity first by increasing their server capacity, and are now adding all-new content to keep players entertained.

The Ancient Sands map brings a desert-themed map to the game, complete with sandstorms and the threat of wandering mummies. In commemoration of the Lunar New Year, the existing Goosechapel map will be getting a visual makeover for the duration of the event.

The update also introduces two new roles. The Esper Duck will take the powers from the existing Esper Goose and turn its psychic powers to evil. The Stalker Goose can obsessively follow other players around to reveal their secrets.

Goose Goose Duck is available now for Android, iOS, and PC via Steam.
