Computer players know that the best time to try out some upcoming games is during the Steam Next Fest, but there are so many titles on there that it may be hard to decide what to try out and what to pass up. One of the games that are a must-try for horror fans is Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle, the prequel title to Daymare: 1998 from Invader Studios and Leonardo Interactive. In fact, we got an early hands-on opportunity with this one and will be sharing our first impression and a first look gameplay video of the demo tomorrow!
The game follows special agent Dalila Reyes, a former government spy now in service of H.A.D.E.S. (Hexacore Advanced Division for Extraction and Search), as she explores the ominous, labyrinthine depths of the most advanced experimental research center in the United States of America. Prepare to survive a relentless and terrifying hunt using the innovative crowd control mechanics linked to one of the most innovative and original weapons ever, the Frost Grip.
This first glimpse of what the full Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle game will offer is only available for the limited time of this event, which ends on February 28th. After this opportunity, players will have to wait until the game launches later this year on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
