Eidos-Montreal and Square Enix met a great deal of flack after they announced their tiered "Augment Your Pre-Order" structure for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. It guaranteed that the only way you would get the coolest stuff is if not only you, but all your buddies spent as much money as possible on pre-orders of the game. Well, Eidos listened to the back lash from gamers and have pulled the plug on their outrageous pre-order campaign. The official Deus Ex Twitter account sent out a tweet announcing the cancellation of the program early this morning.
