After a launching a massive, game-changing 1.1 patch, Blizzard has launched Diablo IV Season 1, Season of the Malignant. After creating a brand new Seasonal Realm character and diving into the beginning hours , I gotta say, the Season 1 content is absolutely fantastic so far. After finding your new right hand man, Cormand, you start to fight Malignant baddies in their dark and dank tunnels, collecting their hearts that unlock some pretty awesome powers.
After going through the first quest, you can start to craft some Malignant related items that seriously tweak, in the best of ways, your build, powers. and strategies. I must say, the first few hours of Season 1 have been a lot more fun and interesting than the past 10 hours of my main, Eternal realm character.
Also, I’m glad to report that so far, a cosmetic-only Seasonal Battle Pass has some awesome emotes, transmog, and other goodies that are polished to a spit shine. Blizzard has outdone themselves so far and I can’t wait to dive in even further!
