EA Announces New Event For BATTLEFIELD 2042: The Arkangel Directive

Battlefield 2042 has been out for a while now and it just entered its fifth season. With the start of the new season titled Fifth Dawn, EA and DICE’s development team just revealed the latest seasonal event, The Arkangel Directive which will start on July 11th and end on the 25th. The Arkangel Directive features two factions dedicated to the most advanced robotics and AI technologies on Earth engaged in heavy conflict, fighting to win control in a brand-new game mode.

The game mode is called Control and is 24v24 played on the Reclaimed, Orbital, and Valparaiso maps, there, players will claim satellites around the map, collect telemetry data to upload to the Arkangel Satellite, and earn points to call in mid-game bonuses to turn the tide of battle. During the event, there will be extra rewards available for players like rare backgrounds and epic weapon skins, headgear, and charms. Battlefield 2042 is available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with games that support up to 64 players. It is available on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation5 with up to 128 players in Conquest mode as well as massive-scale maps. The Archangel Directive will begin on July 11th and end on the 25th.
