Slug Disco Studios has been working on and improving their empire-building strategy bug war simulation game Empires of the Undergrowth ever since it came out in early access back in 2017. Now, publishers Hooded Horse have announced that they are adding Empires of the Undergrowth to their portfolio and are working with Slug Disco as they transition the game out of early access and into version 1.0.

Empires of the Undergrowth will challenge players to expand their colony and eliminate threats in the surrounding environment.
