Today, we finally got some gameplay for Alan Wake Remastered, showing off the reinvigorated game that will live on across a whole bunch of gaming platforms. The gameplay was conducted via IGN and gives players a glimpse of what the first enemy encounter looks like in 4K. It’s great to see how silky-smooth this game is looking from this gameplay snippet alone. And in case you missed it, it releases next week on October 5th!
You should also check out the comparison video above which shows just how far the visuals have come since the game’s 2010 release on Xbox 360. Character models especially, have a more realistic look to them with less derpy facial expressions. It’s just great to see a new breath of life sweep through this beautiful title. This is definitely a step in the right direction if a sequel is in the cards.
Alan Wake Remastered is set to release October 5th on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
