Hot on the heels of their recent announcement regarding a switch to Unreal Engine and planned book anthology, Frostpunk developer 11 bit studios is now releasing Console Edition DLC! This means console players can now expand beyond the base game and try all three DLC packs!
The developers are offering the DLC to be purchased separately or as a Season Pass. These expansions include The Last Autumn, On the Edge, and The Rifts. The game will also be available in a bundled Complete Edition that comes with the base game and all DLC.
All content will be available on consoles on July 21st. They’ll be playable on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as their next-gen successors via backward compatibility. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can enjoy the base game for free, both console edition as well as the PC version (if you have Game Pass Ultimate).
If you haven’t had a chance to play this steampunk post-apocalyptic city builder, you should. Frostpunk is dark, dreary, and definitely worth your time!
