Great news for all you indie game fans out there, there’s a new epic fantasy indie deck-building adventure coming to the PC in January called Mahokenshi. Made by indie developer Game Source Studio and published by Iceberg Interactive, Mahokenshi is all about classic Japanese Mythology mixed with deck-building adventure gameplay. While the storyline is heavily influenced by Japanese Mythology, the gameplay focuses on sleek graphics and turn-based and board game-inspired mechanics.
In Mahokenshi , you play as just that, a mighty samurai mage. Players wield both blade and magic and have to protect the floating Celestial Islands from those who seek to corrupt them. At the start of the game, players can choose from four different houses, Sapphire, Topaz, Ruby, and Jade, each house draws its strength from a different elemental spirit and allows the player to create different playstyles. You must challenge your fate and build your card deck to defeat foes and complete missions. Evolve your character with every playthrough, and become the Mahokenshi the world needs.
Mahokenshi will release on PC via Steam in January 2023.
