GLITCHPUNK Is The GTA Throwback We Needed

You can now pick up the top-down cyberpunk extravaganza, Glitchpunk right now through Steam Early Access! Developed by Daedalic Entertainment and Dark Lord, this GTA 2-esque title is sure to scratch that itch you just can’t seem to reach.

In Glitchpunk, you’ll shoot, brawl, drive, steal and sneak your way through a neon-soaked world filled with gangs and cults. The game also aims to tell a compelling story with subject matter such as transhumanism, xenophobia, and religion.

Relationships will be made and tested throughout the story and it can have some serious impact on the game itself. Building these relationships will change the influence of the city and may even make your enemies, your frenemies.

Glitchpunk is also going to be getting updates along the way with some pretty cool changes. As it stands, the game launched with its first city, New Baltia, and will see its second city, Outpost Texas be released within 4 weeks.

Two more cities, Neo Tokyo and Moscow will also be added during Early Access but there has yet to be set dates for when they will make their debut into the game itself. Each city has its own gangs and characters unique to it but will continue the story throughout.

Key features:

  • Brutal top-down action with a massive arsenal of weapons to choose from

  • Hacking system allowing players to control the minds of pedestrians and affect various devices.
