Easily one of the most popular and intricate titles from 2017 was the platform, puzzle game Hello Neighbor. Featuring a quietly dark backstory that is never directly told to the players, Hello Neighbor gained a lot of speculation on why the house was set up the way it was and why the neighbor himself was so incredibly strange.
Finally giving us the answers we have been waiting for, tinyBuild is launching a prequel title called Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek. This game is set to reveal the tragic story of the Neighbor's family. Players will be playing a game of hide-and-seek with the brother as you both deal with the loss of a family member. If you have followed with the most popular speculations and break downs of what is revealed in the original title, we can expect to see a car accident claim the life of the mother before the game actually begins. The part I am most interested in are the rumors of what happened to the children. It isn’t obvious or factual, but supposedly there is going to be an accidental death and then the other is shut away in the basement. With these being nothing more than rumors and educated guess’, it will be nice to get the facts straight from the developers themselves.
