No PC specific features have been revealed yet but I think it is safe to say that we can expect support for higher frame rates and a proper 4K resolution. The final release date has also not been revealed with just a summer 2020 time frame being listed as of this moment. Hulst was also quick to mention that just because Horizon is coming to PC that doesn’t mean other PS4 exclusives will suddenly make the jump as in this case it was a “great fit.”
Honestly, I think the only reason we are seeing Horizon Zero Dawn come to PC at all is because Death Stranding is coming to PC. Death Stranding uses the Guerilla Games Decima Engine thus the groundwork for getting the game on PC was already done. It totally makes sense to port it when it will be that much easier. It will also give a ton of new players the chance to play an amazing game so whatever the reason behind the port, it is a win for everyone.
