Milestone has dropped the curtain on one of its tracks for Hot Wheels: Unleashed, and this time it’s an insane one. Skyscraper will have players racing around in an under-construction highrise in the clouds to the finish. We’ve all become accustomed to the Garage track so it’s really nice to see another track that offers its own obstacles and beautiful setting. I love the contrast between the light from outside and the darkness of the unfinished inside of the building itself. The track offers three floors that players will drive-through and they promise to test players’ fear of heights.
As someone with a strong fear of heights, I’m actually interested to see if this track will give me the same dread that I feel in real life. On the flip side, there are also a bunch of cool vehicles and an awesome shortcut highlighted in the trailer above. The six unveiled cars are the Bump Around, Sandivore, Boom Car, Buns of Steel, Fast Gassin, and my personal favorite, Motosaurus. It’s so cool to see my childhood toys come to life this way and I cannot wait to see what other cars make the cut.
Hot Wheels: Unleashed releases on September 27th for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
