Releasing just in time for May the Fourth, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga comes to gaming platforms on April 5th! Last week, WB Games and TT Games were nice enough to finally show us gameplay for their latest LEGO Star Wars title, and boy did they deliver.
The video is over six minutes long and dives deep into what players can expect to get their hands on when the game finally releases this spring. For the first time, players will be able to play every Skywalker SW film in a LEGO title. This is a game for the ages.
This humongous new exploration into LEGO’s take on the franchise is possibly the biggest Star Wars game to date. It includes all nine of the core Skywalker films to fully play through, 20 planets to explore, over 300 characters to play as, and even all-new and improved gameplay mechanics that push the series further.
Going from the trailer, it’s absolutely amazing to see new things to do that are brand new to this title. Who doesn’t want to play as Jango Fett, running around the nightlife of Coruscant? As someone who played the living heck out of the first three LEGO Star Wars titles, this game not only takes me back to that time but even takes it to the next level.
Players that purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game includes seven character customization DLC packs
The Mandalorian Pack 1
The Mandalorian Pack 2
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Classic Characters
Solo: A Star Wars Story
Star Wars: The Bad Batch
Trooper Pack – Get day one access to this pack by pre-ordering the game
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Collection launches on April 5th for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
