ICYMI: NOBODY SAVES THE WORLD Gets A Release Date

Nobody Saves The World, the upcoming game from Drinkbox Studios, finally has an official release date. The next title from the developer behind Guacamelee will release on January 18th, 2022 for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game will also be a day one release for Xbox Game Pass for both consoles and PC subscribers.

Nobody Saves The World is a comedy-adventure RPG that follows Nobody, “ a pale androgynous humanoid who wakes up without any memories (or pants)” as they seek to save the world from a rapidly approaching calamity.

To do this, Nobody will have to use the power of a magic wand to transform themselves into a variety of fantastical forms each with their own special abilities and skills. The forms can be leveled up by completing certain objectives, granting them additional powers, and unlocking more forms for Nobody to use.

Drinkbox Studios is a well-established indie developer based in Toronto and is renowned for the zany nature of their games and the distinct artistic style each of their titles boasts. Founded in 2008, Drinkbox is perhaps most well-known for the Guacamelee series that takes inspiration from Mexican folklore.

Nobody Saves The World will be the studio’s first title since Guacamelee 2 was released in 2018. Nobody Saves The World will be available on January 18th, 2022, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It will be available on the same day for all Xbox Game Pass subscribers on console and PC.
