JOHN WICK 4 & SPIRAL Release Dates Get Pushed Back A Full Year

In light of recent events, we have seen delays affecting the likes of new music releases, video game launches, and movie debuts, as we arrive closer to their scheduled release dates. The most recent delay to hit the movie realm pushes back Keanu Reeves’ ‘John Wick 4’, and Chris Rock’s ‘Spiral’.

While some studios have adapted to this pandemic situation and released movies to stream on-demand during quarantine, like Universal Pictures’ ‘Trolls World Tour’, others have decided to stick with the traditional theatrical release. Lionsgate fits in the latter category, as they have decided to release the highly anticipated John Wick 4 and Spiral, the Saw series spin-off featuring Chris Rock, a full year later than they had planned.

The release of John Wick 4 has been moved from May 21st, 2021, to May 22nd, 2022 due to production setbacks. Spiral has been pushed out of its original May 15th, 2020 release, and slated for a May 2021 debut simply because theaters will not be open.

Were you guys excited to see either of these films? Are you sad to see them pushed back an entire year? I know I am.
