After fully launching their game earlier this year, Ronimo Games and Devolver Digital are bringing some new free content into the dark realm of Blightbound. This update called ‘Divine Rite’ brings a righteous new character, Seer Rook, alongside some new features, items, and rewards. Despite getting some mixed reviews initially, perhaps this new update will shine a light on the dark and stylish multiplayer dungeon crawler.
Players can now take the battle offline for the first time and brace themselves for bigger and bolder challenges. Bring a grizzled harbinger of holy havoc to their ranks by adding the exalted priest Seer Rook and call upon Sun’s Essence to create a beam of spiritual healing around you and your allies. From there, they can unlock the Zealous Reward - a powerful blast that decimates enemies while healing friends. The greater the cure, the heavier the blow. Plus, the Blightrifts have expanded their presence with more unique and dangerous challenges that will push players combat, quick thinking, and puzzle-solving to their limits.
