Launch Trailer For SYBERIA: THE WORLD BEFORE Dives Into The Lore

At the start of the year, we learned that Syberia: The World Before got an official release date and details on what players who pre-order would get with the game. Now that we are only a week away from release, developers KoaLabs and publisher Microids dropped a launch trailer for the game that gives us a deeper look into the lore.

Get ready to dive headfirst into the universe created by Benoît Sokal with this latest installment of the famous Syberia series. This time, take on the roles of Kate Walker and Dana Roze, two women capable of moving mountains to uncover the deepest buried mysteries. Each woman takes on the task of a different time period to connect the details together.

Dana Roze is a 17-year-old girl in 1937 Vaghen, who is beginning a brilliant career as a pianist. However, shadows begin to appear over her future as the fascist threat of the Brown Shadow hangs over Europe, at the dawn of the Second World War. In 2004 Taiga, Kate Walker survives as best she can in the salt mine where she has been imprisoned when a tragic event propels her into a new adventure in search of her identity.

Syberia: The World Before is set to release on March 18th for PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games with plans to come to console in the near future. Will you be diving into the mystery hidden within two timelines?
