Ever since the release of the Nintendo Switch last March, fans have been waiting for a proper Animal Crossing game in the console. However, one year later, Nintendo still hasn’t announced whether players will see Isabelle or Tom Nook on the Switch soon. For now, you can check out Mineko’s Night Market, which is a game somewhat similar to Animal Crossing.
Developer Meowza Games revealed in a tweet earlier this week that the game will be coming to the Switch as well. Unfortunately, Meowza Games did not announce a release date for the game, but at least we know that it is coming to the Switch, and also to the PC and Mac sometime this year.
The official description of Mineko’s Night Market is that the game is about “crafting crafts, friending friends, and catting cats.” Furthermore, the game revolves around the character Mineko and her giant furry friend Abe, after they moved to Mount Fugu Island. Players are tasked to help Mineko adjust to her new life as she gathers resources for crafting, sell items on the market, play mini-games, and most importantly, be surrounded by tons and tons of cats.
