Brilliant Games and Hex Entertainment have announced that their groundbreaking digital card game, Red & Blue, will launch into open beta on Android devices starting today! (March 18th) A release date for iOS devices will be announced in the near future. The purpose of the beta launch is to allow Hex Entertainment and Brilliant Games to polish the game and its translations prior to a full-on release.
The core gameplay of Red & Blue will be similar to that of other digital trading card games, but the game aims to shake the foundation of the genre by adding new layers of strategy with its area based combat. Players’ boards are divided into three separate areas where they can place troops, traps, and special artifacts to give them an advantage over their opponent.
