The week is finally here that Square Enix and Platinum Games collaborative project title Babylon’s Fall is about to release! This cooperative action role-playing game will allow players to team up as warriors known as sentinels. To prepare players for the game’s official launch, they have released a combat trailer to show off the different weapons and posted a Season 1 roadmap.
Warriors known as the sentinels are bonded with special equipment called Gideon Coffins. Their goal is to overcome the titanic Tower of Babylon, within which sleeps a great legacy. After the Babylonians perished, only their great tower “The Ziggurat” remained. Now a new empire has come to pillage its ruins and uncover its fabled treasures. Take on the Tower of Babylon solo or in a party of four, as long as you uncover the great legacy that hides within its walls.
Babylon’s Fall is set to launch like any normal game though. In fact, their Season 1 roadmap shows that. Started already for the PlayStation players who have access to the currently available demo, the Season 1 Premium Battle Pass is completely free. By March 7th, we will already have a dueling game mode, followed by a major update on March 22nd. The biggest aspect planned for the game that makes it stand out is the planned limited-time collaboration event with NieR: Automata starting March 29th. Then, to close out Season 1, we will get a new story expansion on April 26th.
Babylon’s Fall is launching in a way that truly hits the ground running! Set to fully release on March 3rd, players on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 can access the demo today, but for the players who purchase the deluxe edition on PC via Steam, they will be given early access starting February 28th.
