Among all the latest updates, spin-offs, and even an animated series for their survival game, Studio Wildcard is back with another expansion pack. This time, ARK: Survival Evolved is getting the Extinction update. This expansion contains a new map and storyline to explore, powerful new creatures to tame, and challenges even for veteran ARK Survivors who have conquered all previous obstacles.
ARK: Extinction requires the base game ARK: Survival Evolved or comes as a free download for owners of ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition, which includes all the original ARK: Survival Evolved content and its huge Expansion Packs Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, and Genesis Parts 1 & 2. It is also available within the ARK Season Pass and the ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition Upgrade.
ARK: Extinction is coming to the Nintendo Switch on April 11th and is currently available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. ARK: Survival Evolved is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Android, iOS, and PC via Steam.
