The time has come for the launch of a brand-new PlayStation peripheral and a new VR headset. The PlayStation VR 2 is just a week away, along with a handful of select titles launching with it. Possibly the biggest launch title of the bunch is none other than Resident Evil Village. That’s right, Lady Dimitrescu will be even more lifelike in this upcoming VR version of the game.

The gameplay trailer shows off a handy flashlight mechanic that seems to have a heavy presence throughout the trailer. It seems that players may be able to access this flashlight from Ethan’s inner jacket pocket. It also shows off the games inventory system menu which looks nearly identical to the original game.

However, the combat was the key highlight of this gameplay trailer, showing off a decent amount of weapons you will be able to use throughout the game. It seems like Capcom may have finally moved away from the static hand gestures from Resident Evil VII’s VR mode and have finally allowed full-hand motion controls for Village.
