Netmarble is accepting allowing players to pre-register for the next BTS game, BTS Universe Story! Pre-registration is open worldwide now (excluding China and Vietnam) through the game’s launch day (TBA). Fans and gamers that do register now, will get a “Pre-registration Special Selector” allowing you to choose a special in-game outfit at the game’s release.
The developers also treated us to a teaser featuring the members of the group as well as their animated counterparts. It keeps to the band’s mystique that they love circulating their stories. The trailer asks fans to be part of their story, and that’s exactly what Netmarble sets to accomplish in the game.
BTS Universe Story’ Create Story mode gives players the chance to write their own stories for the members of BTS. If you wish to play existing ones, that can be done using the Play mode. You can also dress the boys up in a customizable wardrobe through AR mode which uses a “collection” function.
Through the Writer’s Recruitment event, aspiring writers have a chance to get their BTS stories officially added to the game at launch for all fans to enjoy. The event is available until August 24th and anyone is allowed to participate in it. The selected writers will be given early access to the games editing tools to fully bring their ideas to fruition.
That’s a lot of information for fans to take in at once. It’s nice to see the website being filled up now, and there are an event area and a gallery area that are marked “coming soon”. Check back for more information as we get closer to a release date announcement!
