VALORANT had a record-breaking closed beta. Over the last 2 months, the game saw hundreds of bug fixes, thousands of cheaters banned, and absolutely insane Twitch numbers. Although the beta has concluded, players don’t need to wait for very long to get their hands on more VALORANT, as the game officially releases on June 2

To celebrate the upcoming launch, Riot Games is working in collaboration with Twitch Rivals to set up the first of many competitive tournaments that the game will see over its lifetime. Participants will consist of some of the most popular content creators from all over the world, as they battle over a $200,000 prize pool and the title of first-ever VALORANT champions.

The event itself will take place during the game’s launch weekend. Broadcasts of the event can be found over at Twitch.tv where it will likely be streamed by those participating in the event, as well as /twitchgaming as a part of the Summer Game Fest.
