It’s always interesting to see a new horror game show off the gameplay because it is a defining moment that shows players exactly what type of horror game it is. With the genre itself saturated in a large variety of styles, these trailers are truly defining. Partnering the release date news with a proper gameplay reveal, Magic Fish Studios and Maximum Games have released a new trailer for their upcoming title, In Nightmare.
Showing off a top-down view, we can see that this game is blending a variety of horror gameplay elements. From puzzle-solving and path making to enemy fighting and escaping, this game is looking to bring all the good aspects of a horror game together. From the scenery alone, the misguiding bright and colorful world this takes place in, I am starting to get excited for this title as it could be this year’s hidden gem.
In Nightmare is set to release on March 29th as a PlayStation exclusive, coming to both PlayStation 4 and 5. It’s nice to get so much gameplay in one trailer, especially since we only got glimpses from the original announcement.
