The remake of the original 2D multiplayer action roguelike Risk of Rain Returns was recently announced by Gearbox Publishing and Hopoo Games. Since the announcement, there has been a few trailers and updates on the content of the remake, but with a new developer video they have revealed the players increased ability to customize their playstyle.
In the roguelike, players will control a Survivor for the run, and each of these survivors will recieve three Alternate Survivor Abilities. With these diversified kits, players will be able to master their preferred playstyle and maximize their powers in each run. Fan favorites like Commando, Mercenary, and Bandit return with unique skills that will mix up those kits.
