With the release of their latest co-op zombie game, Warner Bros Games and Turtle Rock Studios have revealed their roadmap for what they have in store for the future of Back 4 Blood. After getting a widely positive review from their players, this is just a cherry on top of an already entertaining game. In short, they are bringing a solo offline mode with campaign progression, new difficulty level, new co-op mode, all-new cards and card type, a holiday seasonal event, and much more.
Along with the free updates, this roadmap also highlights the first expansion from the Back 4 Blood Annual Pass, called Tunnels of Terror, which will be available next year. This first expansion will feature new story content, playable Cleaners and Ridden, activity type, weapons, cards, and exclusive skins, with more information to come at a later date. Keep in mind that Annual Pass holders will get two additional expansions after this first one and those that don’t have it already can still get it on their platform.
It’s always good to see games progressing and bringing new content to their players. While it was known that some stuff was coming with the Annual Pass, especially since it was included in both the Deluxe and Ultimate editions, it’s the free updates to let all players in on some new content that is always a positive take. Back 4 Blood has a promising future ahead of it and it all starts this holiday season!
